Questions?

Frequently asked questions

Here are some common questions about applications and the review process.

Cornerstone is for adults who are committed to sobriety, personal responsibility, and long-term stability. While our focus is on individuals in addiction recovery, we welcome anyone who is ready to make lasting change and build a healthier, more independent life. If you’re ready to grow in a supportive, structured community, we encourage you to apply!

Cornerstone provides a stable, recovery-focused living environment. The application process helps us ensure that each resident is a good fit for the community and that we can meet their needs safely and effectively. Our goal is to protect the wellbeing and sobriety of every resident, not to exclude anyone unfairly.

We want everyone to have the opportunity to build a new life!  There are no automatic disqualifiers except where we are legally required to deny residency or when an applicant is unwilling to follow program guidelines. Each application is reviewed carefully with consideration of the applicant’s current needs and stage of recovery, as well as past behavior and lifestyle.
